Our guild is open to the following races: High Elf, Wood Elf, Half Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Human, Erudite, Halfling, Barbarian and Vah Shir. Our guild is open to the following classes: Warrior, Ranger, Paladin, Monk, Bard, Shaman, Cleric, Druid, Magician, Enchanter, Wizard and Beastlord. Alternative races and classes in our guild: Ogres, Trolls, and Dark Elves; and Rogues, Shadowknights and Necromancers are permitted in our guild under special circumstances, where the player has previously demonstrated, to the satisfaction of the Guild Leader and Officers, that the player is worthy of the trust bestowed upon such a character to behave and perform within the guidelines and attributes of the guild. Generally, this occurs as an alternative character for a player with a main character already in good standing within the guild. Such characters are asked to utilize the "/roleplay" option at all times. A minimum level of 10 is required to be admitted into the guild, unless an alternate character for that player is already a member in good standing with the guild, in which case, the minimum is reduced to level 6. Rules of Conduct have been set forth on the Everquest website and are to be observed by all players in Everquest and the Official Everquest Forums. These rules are to be observed by all members of the guild or they will be subject to guild removal. The following policies are natural behavior for most members of the Maidens of Norrath. They are listed here to clarify to all players, even those who are not guild members, that these are the EverQuest values that this guild supports. This chart further defines details of acceptable behavior for our guild. Maidens of Norrath - Play Nice Policies - Activity within EverQuest Guild members are encouraged to distribute spare equipment throughout the guild and to keep people informed of auctions of interest in their current zone. Members are encouraged to trade and sell to each other at a discount if possible. No Kill Stealing. Guild membership gives each of us the responsibility to assist fellow members in completing quests and obtaining items or money needed. This does not give any of us the right to demand money or items from fellow members. They have all worked hard and even died for those items and if they are willing to give them up they will inform you. No Abusive Language - You may not use any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language. No harassment or threatening of other players - Harassment is defined as specifically targeting another player or group of players to harm or inconvenience them. This is not a power-leveling guild. That is not to say it is against the rules if someone wants to power-level, but it is not to be demanded of any member. Twinking is also allowed, but again, it is never the guilds responsibility to twink any member. No Ninja-looting -The purpose of this rule is to stop those who stand near creatures that carry special items and attempt to loot that equipment prior to it being looted by the rightful owner. Also when playing in a group, share the loot. Loot in alpha order or in a way agreed upon by the party so one person does not get more than their fair share. You may not disrupt the normal playability of a zone or area - Zone/Area Disruption is defined as any activity designed to harm or inconvenience a number of groups rather than a specific player or group of players. This includes things such as: Monopolizing most or all of the kills in an area. Deliberately blocking a doorway or narrow area so other players cannot get past. Making excessive and inappropriate use of zone-wide communications (/shout /ooc /auction). You may not defraud other players. You may not intentionally cause experience loss to another player, such as by "training" them. - Training is defined as pulling an NPC along behind you and attempting to get it to attack another player who does not desire that engagement. Bind-point/Corpse Camping Causing a person to be killed over and over again while at his or her bind-point or while they are in the process of retrieving their corpse. Members who habitually violate any of the Rules of Conduct or Play Nice Policies will be given a warning. If the member continues to violate the guild policies, they will be removed from the guild.
